This traditional summer cultural festival has been held on the island of Krk since 1957 and is one of the oldest in the country. The programme encompasses opera, drama, monologues, ballet, concert performances (from early to contemporary music) and folklore, while performers include renowned Croatian and foreign artists. Performances take place both indoors and on open stages in the centre of the Old City.
