Soundwave Festival Croatia 2012: @ The Garden Petrcane

The Famous Garden Peninsula hosts Soundwave 2012!!

Soundwave happens from Friday 20th until Monday 23rd July 2012. The festival site is in the gorgeous surroundings of Petrcane, close to Zadar, A fishing village on a peninsular where the Dalmation Coast meets The Adriatic Sea, the same site that the Garden Festival is held.

On site, the festival has an outside Amphitheatre for live acts, a Beach Side Terrace for day & night time dancing and a 600 capacity nightclub for the beats to go on right through the night. Plus boat parties (tickets are extra).

Next year's line up is set to be Soundwave's best year yet and that's quite something as it will follow in this year's impressive footsteps which saw the likes of Little Dragon, Zero 7, Roots Manuva, Submotion Orchestra, Floating Points, Hexstatic, Belleruche, and Andreya Triana amongst many others, seamlessly entertain the crowds from day into night. Next year's line up is set to be announced shortly so you'll have to wait and see what's in store!

You can enjoy the surrounding areas, you can explore the national parks and the nearby mountains, enjoying the culinary delights of local farming andfishing villages, relaxing on any of the various beaches

There are hotels, campsites, apartments and villas and even boats all within close proximity to the festival site but you have to book early!!

Getting there

Zadar is the nearest airport, only 20 minutes by car. Split is 90 minutes by car and Zagreb 3 hours by car. These journey times are for the highway route and will take a little longer by bus or coach.
