Description:

Pag island is 60km long and between 2km and 10km wide. It is famous for its lacework and local cheese named after the island (Pag cheese or Paski Sir - a sharp and salty hard cheese). Much of the island is dry and barren, although there are many good beaches around the island. The town of Novalja in the north of island is known for its nightlife.

Visit: The Velebit Mountains and the old town of Pag.
