Description:
Zadar is a city & port in central Dalmatia, located in the centre of the Croatian Adriatic. It is one of the most attractive tourist regions of Croatia. It is famous for its production of Maraskino a liqueur produced in Zadar since early 19th C. There are many beaches in the vicinity and numerous activities such as sailing, windsurfing, rowing, scuba diving. Zadar has ferry connections with Preko, Zaglav, Mali Losinj, Rijeka, Split, Dubrovnik and Ancona.
To Visit: Church of St Donat, the Archaeological Museum, National Museum with Art Gallery, Maritime Museum.
Events: Music Evenings in Church of St Donat, Zadar Summer Theatre, St Krsevan day (24th November).
Borik Marina has 200 sea berths and 100 on land., Tankerkomerc Zadar Marina situated in city harbour has 300 berths in the sea and 200 on land.
