Description:
Labin is a town located in Istria, situated on hill 5km above the tourist resort of Rabac with its beaches.
Labin is made up of the old town on top of the hill and the new town, Podlabin (where most the local commerce is situated).
Visit: The Sculpture park in nearby Dubrova, home to the Mediterranean Sculptor's Symposium. Also worth visiting is the Museum of Matthias Flacius Illyricus (reformer and friend of Martin Luther) and the town museum that pays homage to its mining past.
