Description:
Liznjan is a village situated in southern Istria, 12km south west of Pula. Its economy is founded on agriculture and fishing, although tourism is now an important source of revenue for the local economy. Liznjan is a quieter tourist destination, renowned for its good restaurants.
The municipality of Liznjan has 28km of coastline with many rocky beaches. Liznjan town itself has a popular swimming beach.
Popular beaches in the area include: Kuje / Cuvi beach which is located in Liznjan Marina (grass leading on to sea but with sandy sea floor), watersports are available from the beach, Kuji bay is a popular beach amongst windsurfers, Marlera is another popular beach, just 10 minutes off Marlera beach by boat is The Island of Levan which has a sandy beach and restaurant.
