The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has included the

following Croatian sites on its World Heritage List:

    * Historical Complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian

    * Old City of Dubrovnik

    * Plitvice Lakes National Park

    * Episcopal Complex of the Euphrasian Basilica in the Historic Centre of Poreč

    * Historic City of Trogir

    * The Cathedral of Saint James in Šibenik

Diocletian's Palace (Dioklecijanova palača in Croatian) is a building in Split, Croatia that was built by the roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century AD.

Old City of Dubrovnik-entire town inside city walls is included and is under protection.

The Euphrasian Basilica  is a basilica in Poreč, Croatia. The episcopal complex, including, apart the basilica itself, a sacristy, a baptistery and the bell tower of the nearby archbishop's palace, is one of the best examples of early Byzantine art in the region.

Trogir has a fascinating 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. Its rich culture was created under the influence of old Greeks, Romans, and Venetians. Trogir has a high concentration of palaces, churches, and towers, as well as a fortress on a small island, and in 1997 was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Cathedral of St. James (Katedrala sv. Jakova) in Šibenik, Croatia is a cathedral church of the Catholic Church in Croatia, the see of Šibenik bishopric. The Cathedral has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000.
