British coffee house to open a shop in Zagreb

13 February 2009

Description:

The UK coffee-shop chain Costa Coffee will open its first shop in March in Zagreb.
The shop, which will cost 200,000 Euros, will be on Radnicka Street in business center 2000.
It will be the second Costa Coffee shop in Croatia. Split already has one. During the past four months, the Split Costa Coffee shop attracted numerous visitors, who have ordered mostly macchiato, cappuccino, café latte and mocha.
Costa Coffee operates in the Croatian market through a 15-year-long franchise contract with Split-based Vlamanda Company.
Mario Scherr, Vlamanda group head, said the group was planning to open five or six Costa Coffee branches throughout Croatia before the end of the year, according to the "Javno" website.
