Rijeka airport in Croatia introduces flights to Stuttgart and Barcelona fro the summer 2012

After the introduction of new routes from Cologne and Berlin to Rijeka, German low cost carrier Germanwings announced the introduction of a third link to Rijeka airport.

New Germanwingova line links Stuttgart and Rijeka; the first flights are scheduled for 30 July and the last on 6th September, with two departure a week - on Mondays and Thursdays. Departures from Stuttgart start at 15:05, and from Rijeka at 16:55, and the flight takes about 75 minutes.

In addition to Germanwings, Croatia Airlines also introduces new line from Rijeka. This is a link to Barcelona, with Rijeka as intermediate landing on the line from Zagreb to the Catalan capital city (something similar to the previous line Zagreb-Rijeka-London-Rijeka-Zagreb). The first flights are scheduled for 5th June and will be operating every Tuesday until 23th October.
