British actor Jeremy Irons enjoys his stay in Dubrovnik, Croatia
Dubrovnik city is inevitable destination for celebrities. According to jutarnji.hr, British actor Jeremy Irons, is currently staying there. He arrived after appearance at the Sarajevo Film Festival last week.
Jeremy was in the role of the curator of Katrin Cartlige Foundation and also presented a documentary film “Trashed”.
The famous actor was supposed to be one of the main actors at the Dubrovnik Film Meeting, together with big names likeactor Paul Brannigan actor, producer Andy Paterson and director and producer Michelle Ohayon. Even though the event was canceled, they arrived to beautiful city on the south of Croatia, favorite holiday destination of many celebrities.
After a day spent in Dubrovnik, he was already delighted with everything around him… fish, water temperature, wind, natural coastline, the people he met and he especially praised oysters.
"I am especially pleased that I haven't seen trash on this beautiful coast " - he was not avoiding the subject which occupied him in the documentary "Trashed" while also stressing that there are only few places in the world that have escaped pollution. When asked whether he would buy a house in the Dubrovnik area, Irons said he is not trying to buy property, but does not reject the possibility that one day he would chose this particular area.
