The British newspaper The Times has ranked Zadar's festival The Garden and Zagreb's T-Mobile Inmusic among the 20 best European summer-music festivals in 2009.Garden Festival organizers announced yesterday it would be held from 3 to 12 July and include musicians Henrik Schwarz, No Fakin DJ, Crazy P, Dixon, Giles Smith, Gilles Peterson, Greg Wilson, James Priestley, Joey Negro, Jogarde, Norman Jay, Terry Farley, Todd Terje and others.
The festival can host only 2,000 visitors, but organizers believe its natural ambiente in a pine forest near the sea helped the festival receive The Times' recognition.
Moby, Franz Ferdinand, Kraftwerk, N*E*R*D, Lily Allen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Dimmu Borgir and Antrax, among others, will perform at the T-Mobile Inmusic festival that will be held at Zagreb's Lake Jarun from 24 to 25 June.
The Times' top 20 summer festivals include Rock Werchter (Belgium), Roskilde (Denmark), Sziget (Hungary), Pink Pop (Netherlands), Open'er (Poland) and Exit (Serbia), to mention only a few.
