The start of the cruising season in Dubrovnik

The arrival of the floating hotels Musica, Armonia and Poesia in Dubrovnik on the 4th, 5th and 6th of April marked the opening of the cruising season.
The ships are owned by the renowned Italian cruising company called MSC, whose ships will continue to visit Dubrovnik on a weekly basis - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In 2009, MSC ships will sail into Dubrovnik 93 times. MSC is also the only company that offers Croatian passengers the possibility of embarking in Dubrovnik. In 2010, MSC plans on sailing into Dubrovnik 92 times, and regular weekly arrivals have already been scheduled for 2011 and 2012.
As in previous years, a number of excursions will be available for guests, including sightseeing the Franciscan monastery, Rector's Palace, Cathedral, Aquarium and Maritime Museum, and also the increasingly popular trips to Konavle and visits to the Novaković family's rural household in Čilipi.
