The small town of Imotski in southern Croatia is to get its first full-scale shopping centre.Investor Vedran Malenica has announced the Park&Shop Imotski centre will be built over an area of 45,000 square metres.
The building is to start in a month and the opening of the centre is expected in a year.
The investor has already informed that known brands like New Yorker, Deichman, S'Oliver, Takko, Limoni, Profil, Konzum, or for example Danish furniture company Jysk have confirmed to have their shops in there.
The shopping centre will have 600 parking places. It is estimated the shopping centre will employ 300 people.
Once built, Park & Shop Imotski would be the biggest shopping centre in the area 90 kilometres from the regional centre, the Adriatic port of Split.
