Adriatic Sea water easily passes quality test

Description:

An analysis of the water in the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Croatia has shown that it is generally of very-high quality.
The analysis at a number of points off the coast found the water to be of the highest quality at 1,144 locations, of good quality at 16 locations and of quality deemed suitable for swimming at nine locations, according to the official website of the ministry of environmental protection (http://www.mzopu.hr).
The analyses took place from 1 to 26 May at 904 locations and from 25 to 29 May at 265 locations.
Analysis of the quality of sea water has traditionally been performed at 15-day intervals from the beginning of May until the end of September.
