Description:
More good news for Croatian tourism. The British Foreign Office has changed its travel advisory warning about organized crime in Croatia. It now says Croatia has a low crime rate and that violent crime is rare. The office is also warning UK citizens they should be aware of the global risk of indiscriminate terrorist attacks, which could target civilians in places frequented by tourists. The former travel advise given for Croatia had claimed there was a latent danger of terrorism and organized crime in Croatia which wasn't reported or exprerienced by the approximate 267,000 Brits who visited Croatia last year. Indeed few, if any problems. Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Gordan Jandrokovic had responded to the former advisory by asserting it had not reflected the real security situation in Croatia.
