Famous film director to receive prestigious award in Dubrovnik

Irish film director Jim Sheridan is to get a special Tribute Award in Croatia for lifetime achievement in the film industry.
The award will be presented to Sheridan, 60, during the Libertas Film Festival in Dubrovnik.
The Tribute Award goes to an individual who has contributed into the promotion of films on the international level.
Sheridan's film "In America" will be shown to the audience during the award ceremony.
Dubrovnik has become an "in" place for holidays by Hollywood stars in recent years. Stars like Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg, John Malkovich Gwyneth Paltrow, Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas have been spending their holidays there.
