New shopping – cultural complex to be built in Zagreb

The building of the first Phoneix Plaza regional shopping - cultural complex in Croatia will start this summer in the eastern part of Zagreb.
Phoenix Plaza will feature 126 businesses of various kinds, kindergartens, primary schools, a hotel and bars and restaurants that alone will have an area of 2,183 square metres.
The complex will also have the biggest tropical aquarium in Europe, with 1,500 cubic metres of sea water, 80 different species of fish and more than 20,000 other living creatures.
An educational centre called Oceanarium with an area of 1,200 square metres will adjoin the aquarium.
Phoenix Plaza will also have a modern multiplex cinema with 1,140 seats.
The investor in Phoenix Plaza, construction company "Phoenix capitis," has claimed the entire complex will be energy efficient.
Construction is expected to end in spring 2011, Business.hr website has reported.
