Croatia is among top world destinations for adventure tourism

Croatia is a top world destination for adventure, according to the American weekly "People."
The magazine, which has a circulation of 3.75 million, published on 6 July an article entitled "Top Adventure Trips" by well-known journalist Stephanie Michaels.
Michaels recommended to adventurers three destinations: Croatia, the US state of Montana and the Republic of Costa Rica.
The American journalist was especially astonished by Hvar Island, which she called "Party Island." Hvar is in the "must be seen" category.
The daily Vecernji list has reported that such free advertising is more than welcome for Croatian tourism at a time of recession.
