Buzet is hosting Paragliding World Cup 2009

The Paragliding World Cup 2009 goes on from 11 to 18 July in Buzet in Istria.
Around 130 of the best pilots from 32 countries will take part in the competition.
It will be the first time such an event has taken place in Croatia.
Free Flying Club "Tici" chief Petar Klaric said: "It is a great honour for us to host an event known in the world as the Formula 1 of paragliding."
The Buzet competition will start with an opening ceremony in front of Hotel Fontana tomorrow. There will be a short performance by the local male choir Klapa Boskarin from Hum.
There will also be a buffet featuring typical Istrian food and drink, including truffles, wine, brandy, olive oil and cakes.
