Prime Minister requests implementation of new measures

Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor has said it is time for drastic cost-cutting and other fiscal changes.
Jadranka Kosor has been quoted in government-owned daily Vjesnik as appealing to everyone to work hard.
"Deeps cuts and changes are necessary to stay on our feet and to avoid asking others for help," the prime minister said.
Kosor made the comment when she presented an amended budget, the second of the year.
Kosor said the amended budget would help achieve macro-economic stability.
