Construction of giant stage for U2 concerts in Zagreb

Construction of a stage for the U2 concerts on 9 and 10 August at Zagreb's Maksimir stadium has begun.
Around 400 workers have two weeks to prepare the stadium for the Irish group's performance before 120,000 fans.
Organizers have said it would be the first time there had been a 55-metre-high stage at the stadium. One part of the stage will be 25 metres higher than seats in the stadium.
People attending the concert will  be prohibited to bring in any liquids from outside the stadium.
U2 will reportedly be accommodated at the Regent Esplanade hotel and be transported to it in a luxury Mercedes from Zagreb airport, the daily Slobodna Dalmacija has reported.
The band has made no special requests for accommodations or food.
