Description:
A Slovene tourist bought 30 lobsters at Niko restaurant in Zadar in order to release them in the sea a few days ago.The man first asked restaurant owner Erik Pavin to sell him one live lobster from the restaurant aquarium so he could release it in the sea.
He then asked the owner to sell him all the live lobsters he had, but the owner could not sell him all of them since some had already been reserved for guests' dinners.
The Slovene said: "I will buy all those not reserved for dinners."
The daily Slobodna Dalmacija has reported the owner sold the man 30 lobsters for 1,300 Euros.
When leaving, the man said he would come back and hoped the owner would have even more lobsters for him.
The owner said: "The Slovene had been eating fish and was not disturbed by the lobsters in the aquarium but just wanted to release them because they were still alive. He told me he had done the same thing while on vacation in Greece."
