School year postponed due to tourist season?

Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor has said the beginning of the coming school year may be postponed because of the tourist season.
In that case, primary and high-school students would begin classes on 14 September instead of 7 September and have the number of their winter and spring holidays reduced.
Kosor explained that there were around 700,000 tourists in Croatia and many Croatian families, including many high-school students, were working in the tourism industry.
