''What our ancestors ate'' event from 28 to 30 August in Vrbovec

The 29th "What our ancestors ate" (Kaj su jeli nasi stari) gastronomy event will be held from 28 to 30 August at Vrbovec in Zagreb county.
It will be a unique tourism and culinary event during which visitors can taste and buy food specialities of the region.
During the three-day event, local women will prepare special traditional dishes from recipes used by their great-grandmothers.
Dishes that will be on offer during the event can also be found at several restaurants in Vrbovec.
Mayor Vladimir Bregovic said today (Fri) the city had been visited by more than 50,000 guests during last year's event and he expected even more visitors this year.
There will also be concerts, sport events and special workshops for children during the event.
Zagreb residents will be able to take a special train named Potepuh to Vrbovec.
