Fourth weekend in this month sets a record for tourist entries

Only last weekend, 1,191,000 people entered Croatia, 160,000 more than on the fourth weekend of August last year.
According to the Interior Ministry, it was a record number for the fourth weekend of August.
Around 369,000 vehicles crossed Croatia's borders from Friday until Sunday night.
In total, around 927,000 foreigners and 265,000 Croats arrived in the country over the weekend.
At the same time, 1,220,000 passengers left Croatia.
The peak occurred on Sunday, when 520,000 people and 153,000 vehicles entered Croatia.
With the entry of 1,191,000 tourists, the fourth weekend in August had 215,000 fewer than the previous weekend.
