Krka motorway rest area among Europe's best

The EuroTest consortium has given special recognition to the Krka rest area on the Zagreb-Split-Dubrovnik motorway.
The consortium includes 18 car clubs in 17 countries that are members of FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile).
The Krka rest area was ranked among the top European rest areas after it received excellent marks in the EuroTest project to rate rest areas in Europe.
EuroTest inspectors travelled 31,000 kilometres across 17 European countries to visit 101 motorway rest areas. They rated only 11 percent of them as "Very Good".
Led by the German automobile club, ADAC, the investigation was based on a comprehensive check list of 70 test items in four categories: traffic and parking, outdoor facilities, sanitary facilities and personal safety.
Four other Croatian rest areas were rated as very good or good.
