The website is part of the programme "Pizza – a receipt for excellent cooperation" started in October - A new educational programme in cooperation with Italian schools and website www.pizza.it will be on offer in 2010.

Company head Adriaan De Wit said METRO had had 2.42 billion kunas or 333 million Euros in turnover in 2008 and seven per cent growth compared to 2007. Despite that, he added, new investment was necessary to meet customer demand.
