At this weeks Croatian government's meeting a descision was made to change the law on the value of goods visitors are allowed to import into the country.
Up until now the monetary limit on goods was 300 Kunas but now that value has been raised to 1000 Kunas.
Ivan Suker,Minister of Finance,commented that “these new measures will ease the burden on over worked customs officials and make their work more efficient”
Also at the meeting it was decided to exempt foreign money orders from custom duty if their value was less than 160 Kunas.
