Description:
Croatians and foreigners who want go on a space flight will be able to make reservations for it in Croatia. Osijek resident Zlatko Starcevic has made it possible to do so by getting in touch with Virgin Atlantic, owned by Richard Branson, the English-American billionaire who inaugurated commercial space flights. The Croatian has become the firm's representative in countries in the former Yugoslavia. Four Croats have already made reservations for a space flight. Before a space flight, passengers must train for one week at a centre in the Mojave Desert in California. A flight, which lasts for four hours, can accommodate two pilots and six passengers and costs 200,000 US dollars per person. Space Ship 1, scheduled to begin space flights in 2010, is in the final phase of testing.Croatia Resources
