After CNN journalist Ami Angelowicz has been quoted saying that Croatia has replaced Dubai in becoming the jet set destination of choice in December of 2009, other American journalists now are reporting on the same trend saying that Croatia might turn out to be the new It-Destination for American celebrities.

 

After celebrities such as the rapper Jay-Z and Beyonce, U2 and actor Mickey Rourke visited Dubrovnik and admired the beautiful Croatian coast in 2009, the American press believes that the time has come for other American celebrities to follow their examples. According to the American press Croatia offers beautiful beaches, superior food and world-class restaurants at relatively low prices, when compared to the ones in neighboring countries.

 

The media emphasizes that Croatia is definitely a place worth being seen in and that American celebrities should consider a stay at the Hilton Imperial Hotel in Dubrovnik, which constantly receives superior guest-satisfaction ratings and overviews the city of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic sea.
