Description:
In a very intense game, Croatia managed to pull off another victory, this time it was against Poland. The final score was 24:21. With this result, Croatia once again qualified for the finals where once again France awaits. France was very convincing against Iceland and won their game with a result of 36:28.
Croatia didn't play well from the very start of the game and was forced to chase the result the whole first halftime. Poland constantly had a two to three goals difference through the whole half time and it didn’t look good for Croatia. Croatia started the second half time like on fire and with four goals in a row from Domagoj Duvnjak turned the game around. Whole team showed another side to their game in the second halftime and definitely outplayed Poland's players with ease. Once again, player of the match was Mirko Alilović who saved some important shots at the end of the game.
In the finals, Croatia will once more play against its fierce rival - France. The game will take place on January 30 at 5pm. Both teams will fight for the only medal they lack, and both teams will have the loud support of their fans.
