Croatian minister will educate American students about forensic genetics

Croatian Minister of Science, Education and Sports, Dragan Primorac, will lecture on forensic genetics twice a year at Penn State University in the US state of Pennsylvania. Primorac, a medical doctor and geneticist, is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Science and the American Society for Human Genetics.Eberly College of Science Dean Daniel Larson and University President Graham Spanier have asked Primorac to give the lectures.Primorac has accepted their offer but refused payment to avoid a conflict of interest. The forensic program at Penn State, one of the three most important in the USA, is headed by Mitchell Holland.
