Restaurant Konavosti Dvori is just a short drive outside the old town of Dubrovnik, and yet, to sit at one of the tables there, by the river, you feel as though you have been transported far away into a far slower and more tranquil place! It is located in the Konavle region which, although it is just a short distance away, is really worth a visit to see "the traditional Dubrovnik countryside", because it is really different, and absolutely delightful!

Restaurant Konavosti Dvori is situated amounst the fresh greenery of an ancient wood, on the banks of the idyllic stream called 'Ljuta', in an ancient mill. What a perfect location...

Here you will enjoy excellent ham, smoked cheese kept in oil, young lamb and veal baked under an bell in the time old fashion, home-baked bread, grilled trout and other specialities. This is a renowned restaurant for a reason!



The restaurant website says... "The pace of our daily life is increasing. In the time of mobile communications it is hard to set aside some time for private life, family, and friends. Still, there is a place in the vicinity of Dubrovnik which is free from noise, pollution and crowds.  And dishes are prepared there in the same traditional way as our grandmothers used to make them."
