Description:

The specialized national restaurant Lička Kuća is an integral part of the Plitvica Lakes National Park.  It is located right at the entrance to the park, across from the largest waterfall and Entrance I.  The restaurant is decorated in an original rustic Lika style.  It has an open hearth and kitchen and the restaurant area itself is discreetly divided into four parts.  The space has been designed based on a concept by the academic painter Voisavljavić - Modrog.   Lička Kuća opened in 1972.  The restaurant's manager is Mr. Milan Bićanić and its head chef is Mr. Mile Špehar.  The restaurant offers domestic specialties, such as prosciutto,  lamb roasted on a spit, veal ispod peke, potatoes ispod peke, trout, buttermilk, Lika-style doughnuts and specialties from the grill.
